The absurd power of the characters makes them impossible to relate to or get attached to, and it spends so much time trying to wank the power of these beings, that it never takes to time to let us get to know them. Our Tesla vs Lovecraft message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats. Suggsverse fails because it tries to do the impossible, literally. Our Tesla vs Lovecraft Trainer is now available for version 1.0.5 HF and supports STEAM. Something that is a mystery to us due to the very laws of reality must remain that way, trying to explain it is pointless and makes no sense. But HP never says, "Azathoth is as powerful as infinity times 58908989870987980798", no, he leaves it all implied.
Leave the power a mystery or implied, something like Azathoth, all realities are his dream, and they're full of all powerful beings, so he must be above omnipotent. How you ask? Well, simply put, by never explaining it. That leaves Suggs power levels as nothing more that word slurry, a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. We cannot go beyond infinity, it would take something beyond our capabilities to even think of that, let alone create it. Look, adding to infinity is beyond our actual ability to understand. So in order for a fight to happen, and for there to be a winner, you have to ignore the very meaning of omnipotence, which leads to a question, why are they so powerful in the first place?! You could just as easily have these characters be street level, and make it far less confusing for us to understand, which leads to the next point If all your characters are all powerful, all the tension is gone, nothing matters. He tries to explain this world to us, and force us to understand the power these beings wield. All of his stories are from the perspective of these all powerful beings, each one of them with a edgier name than the last, and one dude who i'm fairly certain is just a lost batman villain. In fact, it's hard to judge how powerful these things are because of that, we can't fully understand how powerful they are because no one does, that's the point, they're quite literally beyond our comprehension. Whenever they are scared or confused, we are too, the old ones are just as confusing to them as they are to us, which makes them all the more scary. Lovercraft always tells the story from the perspective of a human, or someone who's not part of the godly pantheon. So both authors deal with beings who's power is beyond what we can imagine, but that's where the similarities end, because how they go about telling the story of these beings is where they part ways. There are tons of gods in lovecraft's pantheon, most of which are nearly omnipotent, or at least so powerful that we could barely tell the difference. But despite all that, he has very few actual feats, and is the weakest of the old ones. He's nearly all-powerful, able to warp reality and drive us mad with his very presence.
Cthulhu, one of his most famous characters, is a god in nearly every sense of the word. One of the biggest problems that i hear about Suggs is his use of the word, "omnipotent", because he says things like, "beyond omnipotent", which, by the very meaning of the word, is impossible. (that last one might just be poor writing on Sugg's part, but still). They both deal with beings who power dwarfs our understanding, and who's origins and motives are hard for us to understand. While the differences between these two worlds are vast, (The quality of writing stands out as the most prominent), there are some things in common. (Don't worry, this isn't a Suggs defense post) But when you look at the core ideas, or at least just the beings that inhabit the universes, it does share similarities with the stories of HP lovercraft. Suggsverse is famous for two things, being incredibly overpowered, and poor writing. Lovecraft.I already made a comment about this somewhere, but here's a more fleshed out version.
